Bodyweight Only Warm Up Routine

You can use this warm-up before any exercise session (running, weights, Hellfire, etc).  I always start my workouts with something like this one, and I’ve built them into the Hellfire Workout schedule — mostly to keep things fresh. I like doing the same workouts as much as the next person, but change is good. Keeps things fresh, and it helps to work different muscle groups.

This warm-up uses 5 different exercises/moves, each for 30 seconds. Then, you repeat the moves for a 2nd time … and then a 3rd time. So, it’s a 7 minute 30 second warm-up, followed by a short dynamic stretch routine.

I assure you that this warm up will get your body warm, your muscles prepared, and your joints ready for whatever workout that you take on!

  • Jog
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Side Lunges
  • Butt Kicks
  • Jump Rope (simulated)
