My name is Dan Yencho. I’m a personal trainer and a sports nutrition consultant. I am 6’3″ tall and usually around 240 lbs.  Not long ago, I went through a very stressful time in my life.  I gained weight (got up to around 275) and I wasn’t happy about it. My cholesterol was high, my triglycerides were high, I developed sleep apnea, and I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

My suits no longer fit, so I had to buy a new one.  I had to buy bigger jeans. My waist got up to 43.5 inches (I’m normally a 36).  And don’t even get me started about having to wear that Bane mask at night for sleep apnea. I know it helped me breathe … but I am sooo glad that I don’t have to wear that thing any more!

I tried all sorts of things when I was trying to lose the weight … and finally found the right workouts, nutrition plan, and supplements that got great results. I went from 275 lbs to 230 lbs in 6 months … and I’m still going strong!

The hardest part for me was that I wanted to work out at home, since I only had about a half hour or so to workout. I wanted to find a program that would get me the fastest results in the shortest amount of time, to lose fat but also to firm up and put on some muscle. My wife I and like to go on cruises, and I wanted to feel good about taking my shirt off.

I also DID NOT want to have to follow some extreme hunger diet. Of course, I knew that the nutrition couldn’t be sloppy, but this guy needs to EAT. I also didn’t want to have to spend a lot of time cooking.

Well, I found what works for me. I had to make some of my own modified workouts  at the beginning, since alot of the programs that are out there really are not designed for heavier people. I needed something that worked without alot of jumping around … and no dancey stuff either. That’s not my thing. lol   I want to share what I’ve found with other people who are in the same boat.
